Ok, so here's the issue, my 3DS won't connect to my house's wi-fi, I don't really know why. I can connect everything else: my PC, laptop, phone, Wii, but my 3DS has a REALLY long connection test (half a minute long, that's a LOT.), then gives me the error code 003-1101.
It says it could be the access point's security may have been entered incorrectly. It's a WPA-PSK(TKIP) type, I did enter the password right, so that's probably not it.
Then it says it's the network or enviroment but I have my laptop connected and it has no issues whatsoever. So that's out too.
I think it could be the router's connection limit, but I have this same issue even when alone in the house. So again that's not it.
I tried to change and reset my router/modem's settings and then change them to something my 3DS could handle/take out the connection limit, but I had no luck. don't know much of that stuff, so I could only reset the access point's name and password by pressing some well-hidden button, but I couldn''t change anything because I need to connect to an IP from my browser, then enter some username and password and I can't guess them. And I don't want to call the company yet since they're jerks and don't really want to help most of the time.
I really want to know how to fix this because I've been trying to play Animal Crossing New Leaf with some friends and I can't, eternally waiting for the moment to connect.
Oh some technical data:
Modem model: SGB901
Security type: WPA-PSK(TKIP)
Modem IP: 192.168.100.1 (To change the settings, it won't work for you if you're not connected to my access point but whatever.)
Red colored regular 3DS, Updated to Ver. 7.1.0-14U, doesn't have any questionable material.
It can connect to other access points, just not this one.
Thanks in advance!
