Error code 005-6534 problems

Hello, ive been having issues downloading games off of the Nintendo eshop on my 3DS system. Everytime I tap the "Tap here to purchase" button, it freezes, gives me the error code, and sends me to the support site.

But ah, thats not the whole problem.

Following the steps on the support site for this particular error code, I get stuck on the 3rd step, "Scroll down and select "Location Settings."" When I select the "Location Settings" button, it loads for a second, then freezes, causing the forced quit of the application and restarting my system. It has done this at least 4 times now. Please help! I dont want to be stuck with this problem for any longer than I have to! ;__;

Thank you very much!

P.S. I have been using a different internet connection than I am used to using, but im not sure if that matters if it wont let me change the location settings. Though if it does, please let me know.

DS Error code 52000.

This is getting ridiculous. I have been trying to connect with multiple DSs (mine and my sister's) for days now to our router, but no luck. I have the router key and on the very rarest of occasions (literally, about 1 out of 100 times) it will connect, but otherwise it will provide me with either a 52100 or 20100 code. Now, most recently, it has started giving me nothing but the 52000 code, and I'm right next to my router.  Please, I'm begging someone to help me. I don't want to have to go over to friends' houses every time I want to play pokemon or something like that with my out-of-state friends. In addition, I've checked and it appears I have a D-link router, which is supposed to work fine.

so i have always been connected to my home wireless router, but its been awhile since i played my ds. i got on and tried to connect to the router because it had disconnected. when i searched for an access point, it told me my access points security settings were not supported, and did not even bring up the network at all. i then went in to manually setup the network. i entered the SSID name but whenever i tried to enter the WEP key it said it was an invalid setting when i know i was using the right one. any help would be great please.

Nintendo 3DS won't connect to my local wi-fi for some reason. Error code 006-1101.

Ok, so here's the issue, my 3DS won't connect to my house's wi-fi, I don't really know why. I can connect everything else: my PC, laptop, phone, Wii, but my 3DS has a REALLY long connection test (half a minute long, that's a LOT.), then gives me the error code 003-1101.

It says it could be the access point's security may have been entered incorrectly. It's a WPA-PSK(TKIP) type, I did enter the password right, so that's probably not it.

Then it says it's the network or enviroment but I have my laptop connected and it has no issues whatsoever. So that's out too.

I think it could be the router's connection limit, but I have this same issue even when alone in the house. So again that's not it.

I tried to change and reset my router/modem's settings and then change them to something my 3DS could handle/take out the connection limit, but I had no luck. don't know much of that stuff, so I could only reset the access point's name and password by pressing some well-hidden button, but I couldn''t change anything because I need to connect to an IP from my browser, then enter some username and password and I can't guess them. And I don't want to call the company yet since they're jerks and don't really want to help most of the time.

I really want to know how to fix this because I've been trying to play Animal Crossing New Leaf with some friends and I can't, eternally waiting for the moment to connect.

Oh some technical data:

Modem model: SGB901

Security type: WPA-PSK(TKIP)

Modem IP: 192.168.100.1 (To change the settings, it won't work for you if you're not connected to my access point but whatever.)

Red colored regular 3DS, Updated to Ver. 7.1.0-14U, doesn't have any questionable material.

It can connect to other access points, just not this one.

Thanks in advance!

Changing from WPA2 Personal to WEP and Back?

Ok, so last year I replaced my old router with a brand new one. The old router was already set up with WEP security, which meant I could connect to wi-fi on my ds games that supported it. The new router was already set up with WPA2 Personal security and a code. The fact that I couldn't play Mario Kart DS and other DS games on Wi-fi hasn't bothered me until now. This is mostly because I usually play wi-fi on games that support the WPA2 security, (Wii games, 3DS, and my Pokemon Black version).

Anyway, recently I have had an urge to play some regular DS games on wi-fi. I know how to change the router security setting to WEP and I live on a dead end road, so the risk doesn't bother me that much. However, there are a lot of things in my house connected to the network with the WPA2 security and I don't want to mess with them since I didn't set half of them up. My questions are:

#1 If I change the router security to WEP, when none of the other stuff is in use, to play the game if it could mess everything up.

#2 If I do change it to WEP, will the WPA2 Personal's security code be deleted or kept in one piece.

#3 If the security code is deleted, can I enter the same one manually and connect to the router from the computer while the WPA2 security is on, or will I be assigned a new code?

#4 Am I looking at this the wrong way?!

I'm sorry if I made it confusing, but I will try my best to clear things up. Also it should be useful to mention that I'm using a Linksys E2500 router. Any answer would be appreciated.

i was given this:

"The access point's security settings are not supported by the nintendo DS. For help, visit support.nintendo.com"

what i don't understand is why my access point isn't supported by nintendo DS. i'm not computer / internet / wifi / electronic smart so i have no clue what to do now :/ so why cant i get wifi for pokemon if i was easily able to get it for the internet in general?

WiFi works with 3DS games but not DS games

I tried playing Pokemon Black on my 3DS for the first time since I got it, but after I connected to Wi-Fi in the DS Wi-Fi options I got error code 52000. Afterward I tried to set up my IP address and all that jazz manually and it passed the connection test just fine. I then went ahead and tried to update my Wi-Fi user information (since this was a new 3DS and it had to do that), but after getting 3 full bars for a while it would just stop and give me error code 20109. Just to make sure it wasn't my game being weird I tried this with some of my other DS games and they all did the same thing. I then took my old DS and tried the same games on there and they were able to connect just fine and didn't need me to manually assign an IP. And strangest of all I use the same Wi-Fi connection on the 3DS settings and I can connect to the web just fine when using 3DS software.

Has anyone else had this problem and knows a way to fix it?

Edit: My internet currently has a WEP protection, but I removed the protection and still ended up getting the exact same errors. I am also aware that there is a seperate second menu for DS Wi-Fi connections.

Updated and now my 3DS won't connect to the internet

When the latest update to the 3DS came I went ahead and downloaded it with no problems and went ahead and tried the new streetpass stuff (Incidentally it looks great). But now my 3DS can't access my router anymore. I've had this 3DS for about four months now and since Day 1 internet access with this router has been no issue, it has served as my main router and hasn't had a single problem with my 3DS before this. I download this latest update and now I have no internet access anymore.

The error code I keep receiving is: 003-1101 or in other words, unable to connect to the access point. I know my internet works fine since every other device, including the laptop I'm typing this on, run just fine with no internet troubles. I've already tried turning the system on/off, resetting the wireless via the little switch, resetting the router, and re-entering the settings multiple times to see if that would help. None of it did. I keep getting the same error. Other than this though my 3DS seems to run just fine.
